Visitez Londres En Taxi was founded in 2009 by David to offer an exclusive service to all French-speaking visitors to London.

Since 2019, Visitez Londres En Francais has been offering tailor-made packages designed to help you discover the capital, as well as assisting you in planning and organising your stay in London. For ideas on what to see, check out our blog or our tours page.

This service was set up to help you discover the local heritage and traditions. To gain a better understanding of London’s culture, and to get immediate access to the best restaurants, hotels and other unique spots.

Who is David ?

Originally from Picardy, he moved to London in 1991 with the intention of spending a year there to learn the language of Shakespeare… and he’s still there!

In 2005, he became the first Frenchman to obtain a London taxi licence, the most difficult in the world to obtain. Known as ‘The Knowledge’, this licence requires a perfect knowledge of all the streets and key landmarks in the capital, and grants the right to drive the legendary London taxi, the famous ‘Black Cab’. His passion for the city then led him to continue his training and become a Westminster guide.

Always on the lookout for the latest quirky and trendy spots, he’ll be delighted to share his experience with you. Whatever your interests: art, culture, creativity, the Royal Family, Rock ’n’ Roll, fine dining, Harry Potter. Or simply a guide for a leisurely discovery walk.
